100 ACTIVE CASES OF COVID-19 IN BALLAD HEALTH FACILITIES

Ballad Health reports that there are 100 active cases of COVID-19 in their facilities. There are 23 patients in intensive care units, 40 patients under investigation, and 13 patients on a ventilator. Over the past seven days there have been a total of 21 deaths in Ballad facilities, and the positive test rate over that same time period was 8.9%. There are 52 designated COVID-19 beds available at Ballad facilities. There have been a total of 113 deaths due to COVID-19 reported by Ballad Health. Since March 1, there have been a total of 9,304 positive cases in the Ballad system.
