Three New York men were arrested in Bristol, Virginia on stolen property charges after a traffic stop. The Bristol Police Department and the Washington County, Virginia Sheriff's Office conducted a joint investigation into stolen property. The stop was conducted on April 23 and several items that had been determined to have been stolen in Johnson City on the same day were found in the vehicle. The estimated value of items was over $5,000. The three men, who were all from the state of New York, were subjects of investigations in areas of Virginia and other surrounding states. The three men were 23-year-old Lassana Diaby, of Rochester, New York, 23-year-old Aliou Toure, of New York City, and 21-year-old Bakery Magassouba, of New York City. All three were charged with possession of stolen property and were transported to the Bristol, Virginia jail where they are held without bond.
