 A drug arrest has been made at the Budget Inn in Unicoi, Tennessee following the closure of the hotel earlier this month. 35-year-old Adam Joshua Porter of Johnson City was taken into custody Monday. The Unicoi Police Department is still patrolling the area after the business was put under a padlock order. The UPD says that the hotel has been a drug hub for years and now that it is closed they plan on keeping it clear of any illegal activity. Porter is charged with criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prohibited weapon and fifth offense of driving on a revoked license.
