Ten train cars derailed in Washington County, Tennessee late Sunday night. Crews are currently working to clean up the aftermath of the derailment in the Telford area. The Limestone Fire Department was called to the scene at 11:37 p.m. Sunday night, but after speaking to Norfolk Southern, who owns the train, they determined that they were not needed at the scene due to Norfolk Southern having their own cleanup crew. There were no injuries and no hazardous materials spilled during the incident. The train was reportedly heading from Chattanooga to Roanoke. Investigators from multiple states are on the scene to determine the cause of the derailment. Several roads have been impacted and remain closed, including Matthews Mill Road, Rauhof Road, and Washington College Station Road.
