BODY FOUND AFTER A PEDESTRIAN WAS APPARENTLY HIT BY A TRAIN IN BRISTOL, TENNESSEE

A body has been found after a pedestrian is believed to have been hit by a train in Bristol, Tennessee. At around 3:15 a.m. Monday, the Bristol Police Department were dispatched to the scene near Weaver Pike and Vance Tank Road. Deputies found the body of 70-year-old Luther W. Tester 200 yards south of Weaver Pike. The Norfolk Southern Railroad Police responded to the scene as well. Bristol Police is asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Sergeant Mike Still at 423-989-5600.
