Charges are pending against a 17-year-old after a crash involving a school bus in Greene County on Tuesday. Tennessee Highway Patrol says that the teen girl was traveling east in a Mazda 626 on Cedar Creek Road when she crossed the center line and hit a Greene County Schools bus with 25 children on it at around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday near Garrett Hill Road. The THP says that the wet road contributed to the crash. None of the children on the bus or the bus driver, 65-year-old James Wilhoit of Limestone, were injured, but the teen driver did have some minor injuries that were treated at the scene and her 15-year-old passenger was not injured. Both Wilhoit and the 17-year-old girl were wearing their seatbelts.
