![]() The death toll rises to 30 after severe flooding in Eastern Kentucky last week. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced Monday that the flooding last week in the region has caused 30 deaths, including four children. There have been more bodies have been recovered, but they cannot confirm those deaths at this time. Also, there are almost 18,000 customers without electricity, according to Kentucky Power. The company reports that there are more than 60 broken poles, 17 damaged transformers, 50 broken cross arms, and more than 225 spans of downed wire due to devastation. Comments are closed.
