Four people have been charged with disorderly conduct during a Rogersville protest. The Hawkins County Sheriff's Office reports that the four men arrested were:
  • Garon Joseph Archer, 25, of Johnson City
  • Daniel Lee Starnes, 41, of Bulls Gap
  • Sean Cameron Kauffman, 26, Vail, Arizona
  • Joshua Blakeney, 20, Morristown
Starnes reportedly became angry when protesters wanted to put flowers on a monument in downtown Rogersville. Sheriff Ronnie Lawson was going to take the flowers and place them on the monument, but Starnes then approached him in an "argument manner and grabbed the flowers and threw them into the crowd." The other three men allegedly "became violent and started trying to assault several people in the crowd."
