![]() A man has ben arrested after shots were fired near a grocery store in Erwin, Tennessee. The Erwin Police Department reports that gunfire was heard at around 5 p.m. Wednesday in the area of North Main Street in front of the Food Lion. Upon arrival officers saw 35-year-old Raymond Salazar standing in front of a yellow house yelling at a man in the Food Lion parking lot and also spotted a loaded rifle magazine on the front porch. The victim reports that Salazar had went to a home on Railroad Street and stole his phone and watch at gunpoint. The victim used the 'Find My Device' feature to track where Salazar went with his phone. He followed Salazar to the yellow house, which is when he came out of the house with an AR type rifle and fired seven to nine shots at him putting multiple people in danger. The victim then hid behind a white car in the parking lot and called 911. Upon arrival officers located the AR 15 inside the door of the house. Salazar was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, felony reckless endangerment, aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
