![]() Elections that were expected to be tightly contested in Norton, did not quite turn out that way. In the election for the city's next Sheriff, it was Sergeant Jason McConnell against Vice-Mayor Mark Caruso. McConnell won with 68 percent of the vote. The battle for Commissioner of Revenue only had one name on the ballot, Mary Hagy, but current commissioner Judy Miller decided late to run for re-election as a write-in candidate. Miller did so successfully with just over 56 percent of the vote. Sarah Davis and R. Dalton Emershaw were campaigning for an open slot on the City Council and Davis won with nearly 60 percent of the vote.
