 Nobody was home on Tuesday night during a house fire in Elizabethton, but pets were killed. The Elizabethton Fire Department reports that they responded to the home in the 1700 block of Charlotte Drive at around 7 p.m. Tuesday. The owners of home were away at the time and no people were injured, but pets were killed in the fire. The fire damage was only in one room, but there is smoke damage throughout the house. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
