 Pedestrian injured after being hit by tractor-trailer in Wise County. Virginia State Police reports that Sunday night at around 7, a pedestrian was hit by a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of Highway 23 near mile marker 35. The pedestrian was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
