![]() Crews in Carter County, Tennessee are using sonar to search for a possible drowning victim at Shook Branch. The Carter County Rescue Squad reports that officials were called to the Shook Branch Swimming Area on Watauga Lake at around 8:30 a.m. on Monday. Crews found an "unattended flotation device" but no one has been found at this time and no one has been reported missing at this time. The Carter County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and the U.S. Forest Service are also assisting at the scene. Comments are closed.
