Two people are dead following a Pulaski County, Kentucky car crash. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office reports that the crash happened on Highway 80 in the Shopville community, between Somerset and the Laurel County line, on Thursday afternoon. 42-year-old Penny Brown was driving eastbound when she lost control of her car and crossed the center line into the westbound lane. The vehicle struck a Jeep Cherokee, driven by 62-year-old Michael Duvall, head-on. The Pulaski County Rescue Squad extricated Brown from her car and she was pronounced dead a short time later by the coroner's office. Duvall was also pronounced dead a short time later. A passenger in the Jeep, 50-year-old Rholda Duvall, was treated at the scene by EMS and was then air lifted to the UK Medical Center.
