 The Virginia Department of Health reports that there are 52,177 cases of COVID-19 in the commonwealth. The VDH says that there have been 1,514 deaths and 5,272 hospitalizations across the state. There was an increase of 439 cases since Tuesday, which was the second straight day that Virginia had its lowest daily increase since April 20. There are 157 cases in Southwest Virginia:
