![]() The Virginia Department of Health reports that there are 52,177 cases of COVID-19 in the commonwealth. The VDH says that there have been 1,514 deaths and 5,272 hospitalizations across the state. There was an increase of 439 cases since Tuesday, which was the second straight day that Virginia had its lowest daily increase since April 20. There are 157 cases in Southwest Virginia: Washington County has 58 cases with 8 hospitalizations and 4 deaths Wise County has 27 cases with 11 hospitalizations and 2 deaths Buchanan County has 18 cases Smyth County has 15 cases with 4 hospitalizations Lee County has 9 cases with 1 hospitalization Tazewell County has 9 cases Russell County has 8 cases with 2 hospitalizations Scott County has 7 cases with 2 hospitalizations and 2 deaths City of Bristol has 4 cases with 1 hospitalization City of Norton has 2 cases with 2 hospitalizations Comments are closed.
